1. What is a linocut?
A linocut is a traditional printmaking technique where a design is carved into a linoleum block. The raised, uncarved areas are inked, and the design is transferred onto paper through a press or hand rubbing. Each print is handmade and unique.
2. Are your works part of limited editions?
Yes, most of my works are created in limited editions. Each print is signed, numbered, and comes with information about the edition size. This adds value and makes each piece special.
3. What materials do you use?
I use high-quality linoleum, oil-based and safe-wash inks, and premium papers such as Fabriano Rosaspina and Canson Edition, which are ideal for printmaking.
4. How long does it take to make a linocut?
The time varies depending on the complexity of the design. A multi-layer reduction linocut, for example, can take weeks to design, carve, and print.
5. Can I request a custom piece?
At the moment, I don’t take commissions. However, I’m always open to suggestions and ideas that might inspire future works.
6. Do you ship internationally?
Currently, I only offer shipping within Europe due to the high costs of international delivery. However, if you're located outside Europe and are interested in purchasing my work, feel free to reach out, and we can discuss possible options.
7. How should I care for a linocut?
Linocuts should be framed under glass to protect them from dust, moisture, and UV light. Avoid placing them in direct sunlight to preserve their colours.
8. Are your prints sold framed?
All prints are sold unframed. However, I’m happy to provide advice on choosing the right frame to complement your print.
9. Can I see your creative process?
Absolutely! I often share photos and videos of my process on Instagram, including carving, inking, and printing. Feel free to follow me for updates and behind-the-scenes content.
10. What payment methods do you accept?
I accept payments through PayPal, credit/debit cards, and other secure online payment systems. Details are provided at checkout.
11. Do you offer returns or exchanges?
I accept returns within 14 days of delivery, provided the item is returned in its original condition. Personalised or custom orders cannot be returned. Please contact me if you have any issues with your purchase.
